I liked this poem. All though it is sad it does tell the story of what a little kids life is if they are getting abused by their parents. This little boy feels like he has no place to go and he just wants to get out of the dark world he is living in. Although it may be horrible it is true and not only one of us can stop it, but all of us can help.

they are the jewels that god had given us,how could anybody to this to a child….but at the same time my dad had abused me for 3y, i was 9-12,it still hurts ….still it’s painful…and still i wander why?and how could a dad do this to his child..
